Many times through out my career I have been asked why are DJs so expensive? All they do is play music right? Obviously, playing music is a role the DJ/Entertainment plays at every event. This is just one of the many duties the Entertainment is responsible for.

Most couples planning their wedding have never done it before. They come to find out during the planning process that there is a lot that goes in to the preparation and planning that they were unaware of. Many times they have questions that they can not find answers to. Just some of those chores are planning the itinerary for the evening, communicating their ideas to all of the vendors, making sure those vendors are always in the right place at the right time, etc. All of those items need to be addressed in the pre planning process and executed during the actual event itself. In order for the event to be AMAZING, the transitions from formality to formality need to be flawless and seamless with no hiccups. If any one vendor is not on their A game that night the event will be less than perfect.

With all of these responsibilities needing to be handled, many couples have chosen to spend thousands of their hard earned dollars to higher a wedding coordinator. In most cases couples are already spending so much money on their wedding that having a wedding coordinator just doesn’t fit into the budget. With that being said, as a couple they have a few options in regards to handling these responsibilities. They can 1.) Handle it themselves, 2.) Ask a friend or family member to handle it, or 3.) Turn to their DJ/Entertainment to handle it.  With their wedding day being the biggest night of their life, most couples want to enjoy the evening and not worry about having to handle all of the details throughout the night, they also don’t want to bother their friends and family with this time intensive and important role, so they chose option number 3 and ask their entertainment to handle it.
